Welcome to Sci Fi Pics, a collection of my work with Science Fiction, Fantasy, Anime & Comic portrait art.
Who is Bob Hubbard?
I’m a professional photographer, portrait artist & retoucher living in Buffalo NY. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2005, and cosplaying since the late 1990’s. Cosplay was a major part of why I started my photographic journey, doing snapshots of cosplayers and masquerades at Toronto Ontario conventions I attended. I’m a member of the Professional Photographers of America, and one of the founders of Queen City Pinups in Buffalo, a dedicated cosplay/pinup photo studio. I’m also a founding member of Justice League of WNY, an all volunteer group of cosplayers who seek to help charities and bring cheer to kids.

I work with you to create a personalized portrait session. Together we will discuss ideas and develop a vision for a unique one of a kind portrait that captures both your personality, and the fantasy world your character lives in.
Queen City Pinups is located in Buffalo NY, and features an ever evolving and changing collection of studio sets and backdrops. All of my composite’s are shot in studio, with the subjects carefully cut from the background and blended into a unique composite art piece. Many then undergo additional editing into digital paintings. You can bring your own costumes and props, or use some of the studios growing collection for your session. Session fees start at $150.
While I do offer digital art, my belief is that art should be displayed, shared and enjoyed. To do so, I offer a wide range of print options ranging from mounted and framed traditional prints, to canvas wraps, and ultra modern floating metal prints. Prices start at $399 for wall art.
